S series anti-corrosive centrifugal pump are made of reinforced polypropylene(RPP) and Poly  vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) through one-time injection molding.  Due to its superior anti-corrosion performance, simple structure, and convenient maintenance, it has been widely used in industries with corrosive environments such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and pesticide industries.  Its high efficiency and low price make it an ideal product to replace stainless steel pumps, PTFE pumps, and other non-metallic pumps.

RPP: non-polar, pollution-free, resistant to general acids, alkali, and salts, with a working temperature of -12 ℃ -80 ℃


PVDF: with good air tightness, pollution free, non polarity,excellent oxidation resistance, good mechanical properties, resistance to strong oxidants, halogens, aromatic solvents, and working temperature between -40 ℃ and 135 ℃


The main vulnerable parts of centrifugal pumps are mechanical seals.  In addition to normal wear and tear, accidental damage caused by local overheating can also occur frequently.  Our company has organized scientific research efforts to address this feedback from users.  In 2012, our company developed a new type of mechanical seal that received a national patent.  After actual use by customers during more than 10years, it is proved that its service life much longer than that of ordinary WB2 mechanical seals which can lower operating costs by a large margin.

Product highlights

Existing Problems in Practical Application 

Polypropylene chemical anti-corrosion centrifugal pumps are widely used in anti-corrosion fields such as chemical, pesticide, and pharmaceutical industries due to their superior anti-corrosion performance and low price. However, you must have encountered the following situation: my equipment is clearly in normal use, and the water temperature is not too high. Suddenly, the mechanical seal was burned out, the impeller burned out, and the pump body or cover also melted. In a short time, a centrifugal pump was completely gone. In this situation, you may blame the employees for not taking good care of the equipment, but it is also very likely that you have been wronged.

 

Excluding dry wear of the mechanical seal, a large part of the reason for this situation may be that the liquid in the pump body undergoes gasification under certain conditions (there may be local vacuum in the pump body or the extracted liquid has a high gas content), blocking the cooling surface of the mechanical seal, resulting in local dry wear of the mechanical seal under normal use. In just a few seconds, the mechanical seal rapidly heats up to 300-400 degrees or even higher at a high speed of 2900 rpm.

 

If you have such problems during use, we recommend using our S series anti-corrosive centrifugal pump. Models of S40, S50, S80, and S100 all use patented machine seals developed by our company. Approved by a large of practice, the cooling effect is better and the service life is longer, which can greatly avoid the occurrence of inadequate cooling of the machine seal and equipment damage. Meanwhile we kept price of the pump unchanged with the patented seals.

 

Patented machine sealing principle:

1. The area of contact between the machine seal and the liquid is increased by 3-5 times.

2. The cooling part of the mechanical seal extends into the center of the pump body, rather than in the corner of the far pump body.

3. Local sharp corners can disrupt the formation of bubbles.
